Bernard Butler didn't produce The Delaney, it was The Libertines themselselves. Also, Mick Jones' version of I Get Along is so much better than Bernard Butler's.

I think Butler's version of Death on The Stairs is better than the version Jones produced.
Did Butler also produce What a Waster?

You have to remember though that Mick Jones not only held the band together for the second album but also had a massive influence on their sound.

Yeh, that's the problem.
The souns of 'The Libertines', and now 'Down In Albion' is fucking awful.
What was part of the recipé that made 'Up The Bracket' such a success? Peter needs it back badly, and hopefully Carl will have it when he makes his album, whether it a producer, engineer, kit supplier or hypnotist - GET IT BACK FFS!

Mr Ben Wood did those demos. there's more to come out yet loves. As for Pat, he's pretty fuckin good, but there is a loty of fcking about on the album...which incidentally is about as good as I could have hoped for. Surprising really.

I think the magic of the Libertines just comes from the tension, love, hate...whatever between Peter and Carlos.
