From last weeks NME... I know there's a fair few young 'uns here, but I wonder if anyone actually has all of the tracks he chose? Just a reminder:

The Smiths - Jeane
Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli - Lambeth Walk
The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet
The La's - Son Of A Gun
Left Hand - Shooting Stars
Sex Pistols - Submission
The Standells - Riot On Sunset Strip
Small Faces - Universal
Iggy and The Stooges - Pinpoint Eyes
I have to say I hardly know any of these songs, but I'd love to hear them all... anyone?

you must of heard the small faces, smiths, the las and the sex pistols, if not hang your head in shame. and go out and buy their cds!!! the Lambeth Walk is an old time dance hall type song, from before the fifties (i think) the only ones song is a really good song and can be found on alot of punk compilations (check it out) i can't say i've heard the iggy pop track, but then again i've never been an iggy fan and as for the other 2 songs.... your on your own

Well I know of all of those bands, and love The Smiths even though I only own a few albums, and I did have Never Mind The Bollocks, but someone 'borrowed' it and never brought it back... they are quite old songs though, in my defence...

twas an interesting selection, love the small faces track. unfortunately not able to find the left hand track anywhere. shame as they are fucking quality.

Ive never heard anything by left hand, does anyone know where stuff can be heard?
The only tracks id heared of properly were the small faces one and the sex pistols one. Ill have to see what the others are like.

The Smiths is a classic
Django great song
The ony ones another girl another planet is such a brilliant song it was smthin like 1992 and they only had 1 hit but it was sooo gd
the Las- brilliant band brilliant song

The standells- only heard 1 song that mite hav bin it

Well, the Billy Holiday is a beautiful track, but then so is anything she's done. I've got bits and pieces of the rest of that list - at least I have other tracks by most of those bands....
