Carl sings. Except for Death On The Stairs, Doherty plays the lead when carl sings on Up The Bracket[Vertigo, I Get Along]

Well does anyone know the amp then?
or the i get along solo for that matter - i mean the sound he gets from that. on the letterman show he did something to the amp. it makes such a weird sound.

what do you mean? as far as i know. zilch effects. their might be some built in reverb? i don't know much about vox. and that wouldn't make much of a difference anyway. be more specific about what you're getting at...

if you hit a valve amp or kick it, or make it move, while its on, it makes a strange sound, like an alien or somethin, i think

Mine doesn't... On the other hand, when the reverb on on my other amps is on, the springs echo and make noises when shaken, or knocked...? x

turn on the gain and have some fun lad. you'll never get their exact sound without their playing style, and their equipment. you could buy they're kit. but you'd need a fair bit of money just for the amps. don't bother copying thair sound, be original!

he uses a vox ac30 amp for classis british gain but they are pricey and a vintage gibson melody maker cost you a monkey to a grand, no fx pedals if you see a pedal on stage its a tuner

I use loads of tone, turn up the treble and middle to about 7/8 and put the bass to about 4. If I'm using my pedal i set the distortion to crunch, sounds great.
