ok so a bit of a long shot but has anyone thought of forming a libs tribute band...?
guessing would have to take a band like that on the road as wouldnt sell locally but heh wot the heck..
i'm based in norfolk and play guitar/ and a bit of bass...
it would be fun just to get together just to jam if nothing else...i get fed up of being in bands that wanna play 70's rock classics...zzzzzzzzzzzzz
also into jet, oasis (of course), clash, pistols and any music that rocks.....

cool!  whereabouts in Norfolk? Im at Uni in Norwich (originally from Essex). Ive been playin guitar for just under 4 years but havent been playin much recently after my last band split up after endless Muse/Radiohead covers! Im not sure about libs tribute tho, i cant sing so couldnt do a Pete or Carl!  |

erm....libs tribute band? i don't like the idea myself. you should write your own stuff. it's much more satisfying

I do agree, nothing could compare to the libs live performance!
Although a libs tribute band wouldnt work (just go and see the real thing!), it would be good to jam with someone who has the same sort of taste in music! ;D
