Hey guys
I´ve been saving some money and i need some feedback cause i´m thinking about buying a guitar. I´m tired of my old flamenco guitar. Don´t have too much money, 350-400€ aprox. Some friend of mine said i should buy a yamaha pacífica, but i like epiphones.
Also, are those jazzy hollow electric guitars any good for an unplugged session? I have the idea that they can be played both as a rock guitar or as an acoustic. Am i wrong? In that case i would consider maybe buying one of those...
What should i do? Any idea?
Thanks a lot

i think they do need an amp listen to the bit in what katie did bout 1:45 i think thats an unplugged hollow bodied guitar but cos it has a thin body not much sound is given off but i think some hofners have the thicker body and can be played acoustically

ok i absolutely agree with you on hollowbody guitaars.
don't get a pacifica!!!!!
you can get an epiphone 335 or an epiphone casino for about the amount you've got.
there's also the supernova noel gallacher plays.
for more solid guitars i'd reccomend a mexican strat or telecaster or an epiphone les paul special
good luck!!

Hey Spaniel
Yeah, get an Epiphone ES-335. REEEALLY nice tone, acoustic but stuns when you kick a bit of overdrive through it!
What sort of sound are you after?
My recommendation would be a Fender Telecaster for a more punk-y jumping about going mental sound or an ES-335 for more song-y songs.
Happy birthday!

Thank you all
I think i´ll get a epiphone dot 335. It seems to fit my needs. Don´t have a band right now, but i´m trying to recruit some folks and mercenaries. Take care!
