Just in case anyone cares, I think I figured out the riff from I Love You (But You're Green). Doesn't sound quite right when playing along, but that might just be cos of the key or something. Anyway, try this:
e------------------------------------------------ b------------------------------------------------ g------------------------------------------------ d-----------------------0------------------------- a--------------0-3-3-------------------------- e--0-h-2--3------------------------------------
Playing the last few notes as C and D chords sounds alright too. Think the chorus bit (when she goes...) is
Dm G x 4 then finish on a C

G* is played
e---3----- b---3----- g---0----- and then Em to start with the chorus d---0----- a---2----- E---3--2-

Correction, F# rather than F#m
I also play this opening riff. Is not what pete actually plays but fits the song i think...
e---77--78--8 10--88--7----------------------- b------------------------------8---------10-------- g---------------------------------9----------11------- d------------------------------------10---------12----- a---------------------------------------------------- E----------------------------------------------------
