If you love the Beatles you should get hold of a copy of The Owsley Sunshine's debut album Clark. They're a local band, and they're brilliant. Hoping to do an eyeswideopen gig for them later in the year.
They're huge fans of the Beatles, and it really comes across in their stuff, so much so they wrote a song about a Vole because the title was an anagram of Love Me Do (Vole Dome). You can get it for £5 in Fopp/Avalanche, or e-mail them on theowsleysunshine@hotmail.com

There's some great songs on the 'Help' album too, in particular 'Night Before' and 'I've Just Seen A Face' - a couple of my real favourites there. 'I Don't Want To Spoil The Party' and 'I'm Looking Through You' too. Very good. I really need to finish off my Beatles collection at some point!
