So I went to see DPT at the Henry Fonda in LA. I hadn't heard the entire album--only the two singles. To be honest I left feeling a bit disappointed. I thought that they had a lot of energy and really tired to bring that Libertine spirit to the West Coast. Nonetheless, the songs were all meshed together--none of the dirty panache of the Libertines. Carl was in this Union Jack sling and bounced around--meaning he was so f-ing drunk. I did like Josh Paddington; it made me wish that I could see the Pads. The one who never fails to impress is Mr. Gary...He was amazing and a real treat to see behind the kit.

Ah, but the problem with that is that they're not the Libs! They did do "Death On The Stairs" and "France"...Sounded awful without Pete and John...Speaking of John, Yeti are coming to L.A.!!!
