Aw, I don't think Pete's a bad person. He's not like...Pol Pot or George W Bush. Yeah, I don't see why so many bands want to "break" America because Americans in general have generic tastes. Hence the Nickelback support. By the way, Nickelback is a Canadian band.  |

Except that there aren't multiple Nicklebacks (thank fuck!). "Band" is singular, not plural. Nickelback IS a Canadian band.

Band, referring to more than 1 person is, 'are' and not 'is'.
Example: 'The Libertines are great'.
Solo artists are referred to as 'is'.
Example: 'Willy Mason is great'.
It's not hard, really it isn't.
