That's a whole new discussion topic in itself - find an adjective to describe Pete's voice ;D

I think petes voice is soft, like on this is for lovers, warm like on music when the lights go out and angry like on what a waster............in fact it can be anything he wants it to be!

I once did this when a friend was asking the same question.. I´m not saying I´m right... hm Up The Bracket (2002) "Vertigo" First verse: Carl (then together with Pete) "Death On The Stairs" First verse:Carl, Second verse: Pete, End: both "Horrow Show" Pete "Time For Heroes" Pete "Boys In The Band" Carl "Radio America" Pete "Up The Bracket" Pete (Carl - background on Chorus) "Tell The King" First verse: Pete, Chorus: both, Second Verse: Carl "The Boy Looked At Johnny" Pete (both on Chorus) "Begging" Carl (both on Chorus) "The Good Old Days" First verse: Carl, Chorus: Pete, Second verse: Pete, End: both "I Get Along" Carl (Even the Video is without Pete) "What A Waster" Pete "Can't Stand Me Now" Both "Last Post On The Bugle" Pete "Don't Be Shy" Pete "The Man Who Would Be King" First verse: Pete, Chorus: both, Second verse/first part: Pete second verse/second part: Carl, End: both "Music When The Lights Go Out" Pete (Carl on background vocals) "Narcissist" Carl (Pete on background vocals) "The Ha Ha Wall" Pete "Arbeit Macht Frei" Both though mainly Pete "Campaign Of Hate" Pete (Carl on Chorus) "What Katie Did" Carl "Tomblands" Short speech: Carl, Rest: both "The Saga" First verse: Pete, second verse: Carl (not sure though "Road To Ruin" Carl (Pete on background vocals) "What Became Of The Likely Lads" both (like in "Can´t stand me now") Miscellaneous Tracks "Anything But Love" Pete (Carl and John on background vocals), Middle-part: Carl "7 Deadly Frenchmen" (being 7 Deadly Sins I s´pose) None... "Lazy Sunday" Both (Small Faces Cover) "Hooray For The 21st Century" First verse: Carl, Chorus: Pete, second verse: Carl, Chorus: Pete...etc Okay.. working on more... The "background" thing is a bit confusing here..when it isn´t mentioned specifically then it´s usually John and Pete and/or Carl... Hope that´ll help

Good job Nev, but a couple of minor niggles - Carl sings the verse starting with 'But don't be coy with me...' in Don't Be Shy, and Pete sings with Carl the 'shoop shoop de-lang de-lang' bits in What Katie Did.

Since I'm bored, here's some more:
"The Delaney" Pete "May Day" Both "Skag And Bone Man" Pete (Carl background) "Bangkok" Pete "Don't Look Back Into The Sun" Pete sings the first verses, both sing the chorus and Carl takes over from 'Don't look back into the sun, you got your past but you're on the run...' "Skint And Minted" I think they both sing some lines, but it's hard to tell "Mockingbird" Pete "Cyclops" Carl sings the slow verses, Pete sings the slightly faster bits (most of the song) "Dilly Boys" Pete (Carl background and a few other lines near the end) "Never Never" Pete "I Got Sweets" Carl (Pete background) "All At Sea" Pete

What the hell was that supposed to be? Cola Queen is NOT by the same band, it's a crappy earlier different band who were also called The Libertines. Neither are Someone Else's Song and a couple of others. However, Scarborough Steve does sing on the demo version of Tell The King (DLBITS b-side).
