So who's coming then? Seeing as it the last gigs in the UK for a 'long long' time I've decided the trip has to be made again....
It'll be worth it.

Lark in the Park was... how shall I put it? Shambolic.... as Peter said on Friday night, 'Who was there last night then? [shouts from the crowd].... Poor bastards'. The equiptment wasn't working too well, the vocals were too quiet, thats when the mics were working, and random characters from Libertines stories such as Wolfman, Scarborough Steve and the Rabi kept appearing, most of whom stayed on stage and blocked the band from view.
Friday more than made up for it, they were fantastic. One of my favourite Libertines gigs. They played a pretty long set (though not in comparision to the Buffalo Bar marathon!), and even when one of Gary's drums got broken they didn't give up, we were treated to stunning versions of 'I No Longer Hear The Music' and the begining of 'Bucket Shop' while someone got him another drum. There were a couple of new songs, which sounded great. Brilliant night. The Go impressed me too.... I was expecting it to be a bit painful after hearing their last single, but they're obviously a live band.... front man made them, very entertaining. The other band weren't bad either, I forget their name though.

Yeah, agreed, Friday night was amazing! The new single sounded great, they seemed to really concentrate on playing it well, I thought. 'I No Longer Hear The Music' (sic ) was absolutely gorgeous as well. It was general mayhem, and of course the customary band-approved stage invasion for Skag and Bone Man topped it all off. Superb! Yeah, The Go were pretty good, I think the other band were called The Crypt, they were alright as well.

Oi Tim you've become increasingly unreliable on the email front, give yourself a slap on the wrist. Glad to hear you had a good time on Friday, we certainly enjoyed our trip to Peterborough. Have you got plans for Saturday? Come to Bath!! Gay Dogs and the Bandits, how can you refuse?! Sorry we left Cardiff so early the other week, we did try and find you were no where to be seen.

I have, but I've also been really busy lately, and have hardly had time to make a few posts I'd like to on here. I'm pretty busy at the weekend I'm afraid, I'm in London to see The White Stripes and then I've got stuff planned for Saturday - sorry... hope it goes well for the Gay Dogs though! I probably left before you did after that gig, I couldn't find you or Roxy and Claudia looked busy...

Ah you're forgiven. She was a bit busy that night, his name is Neil and he lives two streets away from you or so I've been told. Have fun in London!
