Hi guys, Sorry to 'spam' you with this, but I'm sure you've already heard by now that The Evening Session is to be axed from December to be replaced with a new show which has a 'broader range' of music. I might be alone on this, but I think this is a disaster. The Sesh is the best, the most respected and most imporant radio show of its' kind - it is important to music lovers who like to hear great new music (and hear it first, in most cases), to bands who trust it and Steve and who can use it to do sessions etc, and to the record industry as a whole. Plus Steve Lamacq is not only a top bloke and a funny guy but a great presenter and one of the most enthusiastic and dedicated music fans there is. The number of listeners is rising, not falling. The Sesh is an institution, and it'll be a disaster if it gets the chop. So, for any good that it might do, there's a petition below, if you feel the same, please sign your name. Remember where you heard The Libertines first? Remember all the other bands you've fallen in love with? Exactly. Cheers folks, Tim www.petitiononline.com/p247lm/petition.html
