I got very confused for a second there, one Jim talking to another!!
I saw them last night in Leicester, it was quite simply THE best Libertines gig I've ever been to. The crowd were absolutely amazing, I've never sweated so much in my life! Absolutely blinding gig. Brand new t-shirts on sale too, and Up The Bracket badges too!!
For the first time ever since I've been to see them they didn't start with Horror Show - what the fuck?! In fact, the set list was exactly the same as the Jim's, but started off with The Skag and Bone Man, which sounded even better than it did when they played it at Leeds. Delaney and The Boy Looked At Johnny were good, difficult to tell after only hearing them once though.
I took LOADS of photos, I was stood right at the front so fingers crossed they'll come out well - I got an upside down shot of the setlist as well...!

Shit, im going to have to go to stoke or something.
First new tshirts, now up the bracket badges! Then opening with skag and bone man,...
If only there were trains from stoke to Warrington at 11.30pm.

the new songs sounded really good, up there with their other songs definitely. It would have been good if theyd played skag and bone man though, and death on the stairs.
They were giving the badges away free too ;D

T-shirts? Badges? Oh dear god. Roll on Southend next Tuesday, so I can get my sticky mitts on them. The gig sounds like it was blinding - I hope next week is as good. I'm sure it will be.  K |

man, i hate you guys - you have such easy access to gigs, i have to travel half the way across the continent to hear them... i want that badge, too!
