Yeah, try and get as close as you can to the front or you do just end up with a load of heads...!
Yeah, that's true, although I actually prefer the old version of 'Take The Long Road...' but there you go. I hear the album is very good, will have to investigate.

Thanks for the Vines info. I was starting to panic because my mate who got the tickets for me heard the Libertines wouldn't now be supporting. I'll have a go at reviewing Reading, if you like. I took a couple of pictures too, but I don't think they are that good - I'm getting them developed next week. I'll try and review Southend for you though, and I'll take a camera too. It's a tiny little pub, so if I can get some pictures they should be ok. K

My 100 Club tickets arrived this morning, which was the cause of a minor celebration round the house. Are you seeing Supergrass on the 29th then? I really want to go but I don't see how I can afford it. Most unfair. K

southends about 40mins by train from london. quite easy to get to. trains run till about 11/11.15 so if u run from chinnerys u can catch one.

Ooh! I'm going to Supergrass on the 28th. And the Vines on the 30th, so I have all bases covered, as it were...
On the subject of Saarfeeend <ahem>, you shouldn't have any problems on the train front. I saw The League of Gentlemen there last summer, and easily caught the 11.10pm ish train back. Chinnery's is a weird pub though - very sticky floor downstairs. I've not seen the rest of it though.
If anyone is up north I recommend the Vic in Derby as a venue. Very good.

Apparently the date on october 30th at rock city is going to be on radio 1. Hoggboy are also playing. Should be good if they broadcast the whole show, cos hoggboy are quite good too.
As long as radio 1 doesn't arse the vines.

I doubt it'll be the whole gig though...they hardly ever broadcast whole gigs live, do they... they might do most of The Vines show though...oh, who knows?!
