Aah, Supergrass...I thought I hadn't heard of Gras Supers (or whatever they were called)...!! Doh!
It is quite a big tour, but then probably not that big seeing as they have still only released one single, and will be doing the shows to promote Up The Bracket. We might love them already, but they still have to work hard for a fair while yet! (sorry, I've just been reading 'Powder' by Kevin Sampson, a novel about a new band - has anyone else read it, incidentally?)
Anyway, here's hoping they are true and not much longer 'til 'Up The Bracket'! Anyone know if it's been played on the radio yet? I've been away for a couple of weeks...
Oh, by the way, I guess it must be in this weeks' NME, the extra track on the single appears to be called 'The Skag and Bone Man'

if you check the venue sites these additional dates can be confirmed: Sept 5 Middlesbrough, The Cornerhouse Sept 7 Leicester, The Charlotte Sept 16 Norwich, Arts Centre Sept 25 Oxford, The Zodiac they're pretty much the same as the ones from thelibertines.org site, except that there it says the oxford gig is on 26th... the ones you found corespond with the previous list as well, except for the addition of leeds cockpit, so it's safe to say that the list is pretty accurate - i'd say that most of the dates are correct at least for september

Nooo! Which goon decided to put The Libertines on at The Louisiana on the same night that The Beatings, The D4 and The Bellrays rock The Fleece and Firkin??!! Mmm, might have to pop along and see The Beatings first, if they're on early enough and depending on who The Libertines' support is...
Way too many good gigs coming up...!!

Quick question - I was told today that the Libertines won't be supporting the Vines at Rock City, Nottingham on the 30th October. Does anyone know if that's right?

As far as I know, that's the only date they ARE supporting The Vines, and they're not supporting Supergrass on that date but are on all the others, so I'm pretty sure they will be supporting.

If anyone goes to see them on the tour/has seen them on tour and fancies reviewing what they saw, im gratefull for any kind of review to put on the site even if its just 1 paragraph or a setlist. If anyone went to reding or leeds and fancies reviewing that? Id love pictures too but thats asking too much.
I think they're supporting the vines at nottingham rock city, it said in the nme this week they were. And boys in the band is on the NME stereo. Just so you know. And they're listening to BRMCs first single again.

Well, I went to Leeds and might be able to conjure up something of a review from that...I'm going to see them on tour (err, a few times actually, first one this Saturday!) so I think a review of the current tour might be a better idea. I'll try and get an actual setlist, but I'm sure I'll be able to remember. I'm definitely going to try and take some photos as well, so I'll send you them when they get developed (providing they're any good!) By the way, have you seen the photos on the Radio 1 site of the band at Reading/Leeds? There's some quite nice pictures on there, don't know if you'll be able to nab them for this site or not, but even just for your own personal wellbeing, they're worth checking out!!
Oh, by the way, BRMC are re-issuing 'Whatever Happened...', and quite right too, that way it can get its' deserving place in the high reaches of the Singles Of The Year charts... a great record!

Ive got some crap photos from leeds mainly of peoples heads.. Them photos on the R1 site are good, i might rob them and put them on here. It would be great if you could take some photos/write some reviews, i might try to take some decent ones at that liverpool gig or any others i go. It was only a matter of time before BRMC released that again though, its like the music with take the long road
