Is this the album listing? How'd you find out? Or is it somewhere really obvious?
Somehow, I wasn't expecting Waster...

Ta for that. I've just gone and had a peek. I hope they are wrong about the date though. I don't want to have to wait an extra week. K

Assuming Up The Bracket is released on the 14th, that's the same day as the new Delgados album...
Who's going shopping that Monday then...

It looks decidedly short doesn't it?! No Waster, no Bangkok (one of my favourites), no Mayday (although that was a b-side so I'll let them off), no Never Never either, which NME claimed was an LP track they'd been listening to... I soooo hope they're wrong about the date as well. The wait is long enough as it is, without putting it back a week!

yeah, but you've got to admit they've got loads of songs out for a new band - i mean with all the b-sides it'll be 18 tracks in half a year, the strokes only have 12 in over a year...

Very good point. We/I shouldn't be too greedy, there's a fair few songs on the album they haven't played live or have only just started to, plus from the sound of Up The Bracket the album isn't going to sound much like their live shows anyway.
Ooh, blimey, I've gone up to 'Getting Along'...

Bit surprised to see there's no what a waster, but I dont think thats a particularly bad thing, I'm sure the other songs are just as good if not better. Good to see some new songs on there. Never heard of Radio America. No Bangkok tho maybe theyll put in on a signle as a Bside. Anyone heard any of the Bsides off up the bracket?

Ive got the promo with skag and bone man on it, its a bit like mayday with all shouting in the backgroung and stuff but its about 20 seconds longer due to the fact they 'fuck up' in the middle of it and stop. The lyrics are in the lyrics and tab section complete with the fuck up bit so have a look.

Yeah, they've started playing The Delaney and Skag and Bone Man live, both are rather excellent. Love the bit in the middle of the latter where Gary does a big drum solo... don't know how they've done it on record but it sounds pretty cool live! Damn - amazon is saying 21st October for the album now as well...
