I was buying cds today and the bloke behind the counter noticed my up the bracket badge and let me have a copy a whole two days early and for just one pound fifty. I nearly forgot to wear my badge today, so lucky old me. I saw the video for the first time this evening too, do you reckon its safe for us to assume that baguette comes from the backery in that photo they always use in the NME? I hope so.

You should have said the badge was up the bracket the album not the single and see if they would have given you a copy of that...........?chances?
You'd think NME would have another photo by now, every story on NME .com uses that photo.

Well done you! Wear your Up The Bracket badge with pride! One pound fifty is very cheap, I hope he's going to include it as an official chart-eligible sale...I'm sure he will. Isn't it weird how we don't give a shit about the charts until The Libertines release a new single...?!
It would be great if that baguette was from there, although I'm pretty sure there's some debate over whether it's actually a baguette or corn on the cob Gary is munching on... what do you reckon? (K, I told you it was all anyone was talking about...!)
Well, I've been playing my copies non-stop this morning and I think The Delaney just edges it for me as the best new b-side - pure guitar pop genius... anyone else? I reckon we should have a vote at the end of the week or something...!!

In what way does it spook you? I think it's quite charming.

I'm not saying it's a bad song, just that it sounds strange. Just a personal thing I guess...

Yeah, for a double a-side Boys In The Band isn't getting much of a look in, is it?! Great studio version though.
The Delaney is pure pop genius, I agree, they're all really brilliant b-sides, which isn't something you can often say about single releases... yep, I agree that the album's going to be worth waiting for if that's the kind of quality... no wonder Pete wanted to do a double album!

Anyone buy the crescent album? i think its really good. I bought the Crescent's single last Saturday, and the album when I saw it in HMV in the week. It is a good album and better than some I have listened to recently.
