e-4-2-0-------------------------------------- b---------3h5-5-5-3h5-5-5-3h5-5-5-----
e-4-2-0-------------------------------------- b---------3h5-5-5--------------------------- g--------------------4-2-0------------------- d----------------------------2-2-------------- a---------------------------------------------- e----------------------------------------------
i don't claim this to be exact as i havcen't played it and listened to the record at the same time but it's how i play it and it's recognizable

ok i just seen mocking bird on gonzo and it played like thus:
e- b- 7 9 7 5 3 5 3h5 55 3h5 5 3 7 9 7 5 3 55 g- 2 d- 1h2 11h2 2 1 a-
im not entirely sure if the end bit is right or not
then right at the end carl finger picks an open(not too sure though, maybe fretted but i cant see) b or g string

i'd go with the first version as well, saves a bit of hassle, think an open E's played with the intro notes as well
