just out interest, does anyone like kwl english comedies like steptoe and son, tony hancock, the likely lads???
was interested to read pete quoting from steptoe in the christmas nme issue.
i guarentee that you will love these programmes, if indeed like me you enjoy the libertines and the smiths etc. its what morrissey is all about!!!!!!!

in that interview he also says Kes is his favorite film...it is a bloody good film, but so sad!

never been particularly keen on steptoe or the likely lads *dives for cover*
my personal favourite classic comedy is porridge, love it. Ronnie Barker, genius.

awww i luv kes..... *sobs* i think james skelly sed it was his fave book too or sumthin.... anyway yeh porridge is great.... heh heh !!.... has anyone ever seen garth merenghis dark place? i spose i appreciate steptoe more cos its quite sad in a way... has any one ever seen any of the Ealing comedies?
