Brilliant Turned mtv2 on last nite, late nite gonzo was on and the futureheads were on the couch being interviewed.
They showed the video for carnival kids and then they played an acoustic version of first day on the couch which was amazing, im waiting for it to be repeated so i can tape it. Did anyone else catch it? Restored my faith in mtv2 over the amp.

Aah, every few months there seems to be a reminder of why I should have Sky... damn! It sounds great, I would have loved to hear that acoustic version of First Day, I bet that was amazing, with all the vocals and everything. I don't think I ever saw the Carnival Kids video either. Did they say anything interesting in the interview? They seem like funny guys, and I can never resist a north-east accent either, they always crack me up for some reason!

i cant remember much of what they said in the interview, they were going on about bands in sunderland for a bit, and other stuff they like at the moment. Zane lowe was calling them the future of British rock music etc, saying how they represent british rock more than coldplay and others. I think he likes them. It was a good interview though, i just cant remember what they said in it.
It would be worth getting sky or summatt in case theres a repeat of it, the acoustic first day was worth a years subscription alone!
