I dont know if anyones been watching that q mix thing on q but that smiths vs eminem one is quite funny, crap mix, but quite funny.
I also noticed having got this months hmv playlist with some top songs by the burn and longwave on it, that the Cave In song "stained silver" would go perfectly with "everything in its right place" by Radiohead. If only i had the equipment to do this.

Have you got that Soulwax mix album, Too Many DJ's? I've still not heard it, but it might be up your street if you like mixing a few songs together... I have to say, I really like the Nirvana/Destiny's Child one, and The Strokes/Christina Aguilera one is pretty cool too...
I got that HMV playlist album the other day too, haven't had a chance to listen to much of it yet, but things are looking good for the new Placebo album, I think *ducks* - and The Raveonettes' 'Beat City' is fantastic... bought the album (hence the free cd) - sounds pretty good on first listen as well...

The Strokes/Christina thiny one was done by the Freelance Hellraiser.
The best Soulwax mixes aren't on the album that was commercially released. Theres another one, promo only I think, thats got stuff like the Beach Boys mixed with Michael Jackson. Its great. I was a bit disappointed with the 2 Many Djs album after hearing bits of the other one. Ah well.

Really? Hmm, so you think I shouldn't bother with the Too Many DJ's one then? I wouldn't mind hearing it, but it's probably the kind of thing I wouldn't listen to very often... if I see it cheap I might pick it up, I guess!
Someone was talking about that promo only cd, and everyone seemed to think she meant the Too Many DJ's album - it seems she was right about it being a promo only after all! Sounds kind of cool though...

I didn't really like 2 Many DJs. Was a bit disappointed with it. I only really bought it to get Wildbunch's (now Electric 6) Danger! High Voltage!... in the mix it only lasted about a minute though. Oh well. I could send you a tape of it if you like...?
Yeah, I went and asked in the shop I heard the promo, they told me a friend of a friend had copied it for them but it was really hard to get hold of. Ah well.

They mixed stuff really imaginetively.

I've not... I'd like to though. The bits from the other album I heard sounded ace.
They were DJing at the same time as the Strokes at Leeds last year... I didn't want to see them that much!

Haha no... is that Mark & Lards work?
I heard a mix I'd never heard before last night.... Electric 6 and New Order unless I'm mistaken. I was rather drunk, but I'm sure thats what it was.
