Apart from the hives bassist.
Id say the Bandits The Burn if they ever release anything Jet, if NME have anything to do with it Electric 6
And every band in liverpool will probably have an album out this year. Any more suggestions?

British Sea Power, if there's any justice... It's hard to tell though, a lot of bands tend to emerge during the year, rather than already be heard of in early January, I find (as per The Libertines, for example). But you're right about Jet, we're going to get this lot forced down our throats whether we like it or not...

maloze will be huuuuggge!! I just saw them last week, holy shit they are amazing! the singer christian never stops moving, he's got to be on something. they are brilliant live. thier music is sorta that raw, garage thing but more on a deeper level( like the libs). great lyrics! you can download some mp3s from the e.p. at maloze.com but try and find live stuff on kazaa or winmx.

Hmm, I don't think Electric 6 will be that big, because I think most people will consider them to be a novelty act. It's a real pity too, I saw them at Feet First the other week and they were great.

Yeah... they were far far better than I expected them to be when I saw them too. Danger! wasn't even the highlight of the set.

Yeah... they were far far better than I expected them to be when I saw them too. Danger! wasn't even the highlight of the set. It wasn't, was it? Did Dick Valentine stand absolutely still as well? When I saw them it was as if he didn't want to make the effort for that song. The rest of the set he threw himself all over the place. Gay Bar sounded superb.
