My lovely friend emailed me the Rough Trade press release for the album today, but being an utter dimwit, I've left it at work. I can remember most of it though, and anything I've left out I'll add tomorrow.... So, first the bad news - album scheduled for release on the 21st October. Now for the good news - there will be quite a lot of press coverage! So, the November issue of Q will have two pages, plus articles in Uncut, Mojo and The Fly (this will be a front cover). NME will also do a front cover either the week before or the week of release, subject to confirmation. There should also be coverage in "quality national daily newspapers, quality weekend newspapers" plus a few other bits and bobs. I've got the publishing dates at work, so I'll stick them on here tomorrow. What else..... um, Pete and Carl have done all the artwork for the album, there should be some coverage as part of One Live in Nottingham (although this seems a bit vague), plus tv interviews, which, if I remember correctly, will be in conjunction with the Supergrass tour dates. There will also be a fly poster campaign and point of sale promotion material in shops. I think I may have left one or two things out, but I'll stick those in tomorrow... K

Well done for getting all the information! im not too bothered about the album being put back....im sure itll b worth the wait. Good to see they're getting some good press coverage. I'm not sure whether its a good thing that NME are giving them front covers or not...probably is. Roll on Oct 21st 28 more days!

Press release on Monday and last night I found the single at Music and Video Exchange.... Must be my lucky day!
Anyway, the only I think I forgot to mention before is that there should also be coverage in The Face. Probably just a review though.
