He's only gone and spelt his surname wrong as well... bloody rockstar types, thinking grammatical corerectness doesnt apply to them...

Was wondering if there were any good tabs of this online yet but I guess it's pretty recent yet. On the live videos of John playing it, G, D and C seem to be pretty accurate although I'm not sure about Em- could be right though...

I think that, for the verse, it goes like this : G - D - Em - C - G - Em - A - D I'm still looking for the chorus

E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- G-----7-----7---9--7-----7---9--7-------------------------------------7---------------7--7--7--7-- D-9------9-------------9------------9---7-----------------------7----------9---7-------------------- A---------------------------------------------10--------7---10----10--------------10---------------- E---------------------------------------------------10--------------------------------------------------
The intro, and chorus lead part goes like that, although Andrew plays it spread across the neck (ie, starting at fret 4 on the G-string, and playing the open D-string as opposed to the 10th fret on the low E) but this tab ought to give you the notes, play it how you like. There's a couple of light bends thrown in too, should be able to hear them for yourselves? Yeah...

Bear in mind that that ^, is from the first demo, which i presume is the same as the single, but i'm not sure. And i wrote out the lyrics for you too, and I'm only unsure about one bit, the "Promise every heaven into hell" bit, which i like to think is meant to be "Plummeting from heaven into hell" But i'm really not sure what it is. Knock yourselves out anyway:
As a child my mind was open wide, Seeing many wonders all the time I had to close it, just to survive.
At school they tried to break my soul, Doing all the things that I was told, Trying to push me, in an automatic life mold,
I couldn’t live my life that way, It’s bad for my health
Never lose your sense of wonder, Even if you lose all else
And so I took a trip inside my mind, And it opened up these eyes which have been blind, I saw wonder, I can’t define
Well I lost control and I fell, Promise every heaven into hell, How long I stayed there, I couldn’t tell
So I climb up on a lonely ladder, Put my heart on the shelf
Never lose your sense of wonder, Even if you lose all else
Love is the key, And only love will set you free It’s all yours now, Everything that you need
Don’t give a little peace to others, Take a little piece for yourself
Never lose your sense of wonder, Even if you lose all else
You can keep your sense of wonder, Even if you lose all else
