wanted to know if n e one knew how to get a kind of pete or carl sound with amp settings im not looking for the exact sound i just wanted to know

Yo
I play either using....
Acoustic clean channel using full treble n about a third up the scale on bass. Bit of delay, some reverb and robert's ur father's brother!
OR!
For stuff like UIp the Bracket n Boys in the Band -
overdrive - full treble, f.all bass, ful gain, no delay, no other effects, but i play thru a bass pedal Zoom 506II for my lead guitar on some custom setting i pissed about with to make n find! its banging!
Good luck just mess about n u'l find it! the smaller n crappier the amp the more it sounds like them to be honest!

i always thought that they used little gain, and had settings of full treble, half middle, and half bass.
so im confused.

For stuff like horror show and mayday i whack the gain and the treble up, then 1/4 way up bass and half middle.
The general rule if there is one is keep up your treble or your in trouble.
