lets get it straight. shambles are wank. no doubt about this, pete was a legend but now is a gay cock sucking retard with a needle anywhere but his japs eye (im not a racist). it is realy realy silly the album, cant help but laugh when i hear pete in the background with 'the general' singing that rubbish song. it does sound like he is in jail. i hope he gets locked up and they throw away the key. patrick....my word, what a dick nut, he may aswell be dead. paddingtons are the daddys, and the cribs.
cheers xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ps. im going to shambles next week in newcastle, quite looking forward to it.

I think the above response can be submitted to a psychiatric institution for schizophrenia evaluation.

Shambles are so shambolic man, they're so new and fresh and raw. It's just what British music needs.
Hmm.
I agree with Papa, get Yngwie on guitar, he could knock the spots of Pat. Mind you, so could anyone playing guitar for more than a week.
Paddingtons... oh dear. Someone said strokes tribute band? Yeah, not far off. Painfully simplistic, tuneless wank. Couldn't be anymore dull. Wait.. I suppose there's the Cribs... and the Rakes (/Joy Division rip-offs) of course.
'British' music (why does anyone care whether a bloke in a band is born in the same politically defined territory anyway as themselves anyway?) is pretty dead at the mo then isn't it?

i'd hardly call it dead. you could just claim any band are a XXXXXX rip off (beatles/stones - chuck berry, sex pistols - new york dolls, oasis - slade) but with shambles, its the quality of the performances and prodiction rather than the actual songs that lets them down.

dustins are a good punk band. maximo are quite good, i think its difficult to argue against it. the rakes, i reckon are a bit patchy, some excellent stuff, but theres some duff uns on the album.
