LOL! Are you sure you are being serious? That is definitely the funniest comment of the day thus far. Thanksgiving is always held on the last Thursday of November; it is a federal holiday. Um...Well the day celebrates the "thanks" that we have for everything. It is supposedly the date that the Pilgrims [those exiled from the U.K.  ] had a big feast with the Native Americans. Basically, it is a day for people to eats loads of turkey, potatoes, bread, pumpkin pies, etc, and watch football [the American kind]. You are all invited to my house if you are ever in Los Angeles for Thanksgiving. We can raid my dad's wine cellar. |

Kind of...American history is tricky. Certainly, most of the "European" settlers raped, killed, stole from the Native Americans. However, Americans want to pretend that all was well; thus, they celebrate Thanksgiving. It is a very ironic holiday.

Well it was more sad than interesting. More Americans died in that war than any other war. 'Twas a very bloody war and destroyed generations of families.
