boys in the band rocked. finally worked out all of horror show on the guitar due to the amazing wonders of having a better drunk memory than sober. oh yes.
strongly considering going to brighton as 100 club is so far away.

You should go. We left Chinnery's and said "Bugger it, let's go to Tunbridge Wells". And we've already got tickets for the 100 Club...

Rob If you have any guitar stuff to contribute to the site i would be gratefull. My band (with no drummer) do a cover of what a waster and thats all i could be bothered to work out, so any tab or chords you could contribute would be great.

Cheers Jim - I'm pretty chuffed with the photos. I have to say the one of Pete and Carl sharing the mic is my favourite, if you look closely they are looking right into each others eyes, quite scary actually, as is the one of Carl's eyes rolled back so all you can see are the whites of them...
Went to Bristol last night, and the set-list was exactly the same as the one above. Very good gig, the crowd weren't as good as at Leicester though, and the band seemed slightly less up for it than normal. Vertigo was sounding good though, Delaney and Skag and Bone Man too (I'm just picking out the new ones or in the case of Vertigo one that's not quite as instant). Horror Show is still amazing though, a truly brilliant opener, and Death On The Stairs didn't disappoint either. Top stuff!

well my version of horror show probably aint very accurate at the mo, but when the albums released i'll tab it properly.
for those who are desperate, its something along the line of
verse : C (most of the time) then G
chorus : C E Am Dm G well it'll prob sound wrong unless u've got my brain. but trust me its quite close (u need to work on the rhythm).

Aha! Now, *that's* more like it... Cardiff was great! Loads better than the Bristol gig, the band were really up for it and Pete and Carl were in fine form, from shouting "it's impossible" at each other off mic during Up The Bracket to Pete lowering his mic to all kinds of obscure heights and angles, to Carl swaying majestically through Vertigo and Pete kicking Gary's symbol at the end of his drum solo in Skag and Bone Man. A triumphant return to form!
The setlist was again as above...
